I took a 300 level physiology class online last year and ended up failing it because I was working full time and could not devote the time necessary for the class. The transcript will be automatically sent to my first choice vet school because I took the class through their online program, however does anyone think its necessary that I send this undesireable transcript to all the other schools I am applying to? I finished a masters in biomedical sciences this year and took mammalian physiology 1 and 2 which are both 500 level courses, and got a B in each. Any thoughts?

I thought I read something somewhere on SDN about someone getting denied because the school found out about a transcript that wasn't sent. Anyone know about this?

In essence, that failing grade didn't get sent to your first choice just becuase you took a class there. VMCAS requires submission of ALL undergraduate and graduate transcripts. It's really dishonest to try and hide a grade. I'm not sure why anyone would not think the same.

I agree. It sucks to get a bad grade, I've been there done that but all you have to do is retake and show them you can do better. We're all applying to be doctors, it's not right to be dishonest.

What is it with this question lately? And use the search function.
I was sorta thinking the same thing upon reading the thread title... this is, what, the fourth or fifth time this cycle?

And, yes, OP, VMCAS requires all college-level transcripts to be submitted -- no exceptions. To not abide by that is dishonest and, if you are caught, could potentially render your application null and void for this year.

great, thanks everyone! I get the point now. I didn't realize I had posted this question twice as I was not getting notifications about replies.

Maybe consider looking back on your old threads before creating a new one? You don't need notifications to know you created a thread and to go find it and open it. And, again, use the search function. There's an entire thread devoted to how to search for things...
