you won't be able to do it until the app opens and they give you an ID#.

AMCAS will give you specific directions on what to do when it opens in May. Do it as soon as possible, as it's something that can hold up verification of your app.

sorry one last question... spring grades post june 1st.. that means transcripts won't be out until probably mid june or so to AMCAS... i "think" i should just submit transcripts without the spring grades- smart move? cum gpa 3.67 sci 3.62 with spring grades it would be 3.68 and sci 3.64 (due to being a post-bac and 200 something semester units total)... not worth it right? My pre-med advisor is saying wait b/c every point on the gpa will help.. im thinking .01-3 not worth much...

Were I in your shoes, I would refrain from sending in those final grades and just submit your transcripts as early as possible. I suggest this for three reasons: submitting earlier will allow you to be complete earlier (and thus eligible for earlier interviews), the GPA difference is negligible, and finally, you could use the new grades in a future update (assuming that they are excellent) should you be interested in sending in updates (the grades will be able to "stand out more" in this light).

I'd only send them in with your initial transcript were you expecting them to be very poor (IE: detrimental to your GPA), which they do not seem to be in this case.

nah im pretty sure they'll be fine... after years of being in school i've become decent at estimating grades 😉.

Thats pretty smart.. keep them as something to talk about in a LOI

I agree - submit your transcript early without Spring grades. If you get them in and they are really stellar, you can always update AMCAS with new grades. But you will really like not having to wait for them to verify your transcript in June - do it in May instead.
