Hey everyone, I just had a quick question because I am a bit confused about what happens after my AMCAS application is verified and worried about a couple of my letter writers.

First off, both of my transcripts are verified already. However, a couple of my letter writers (including one crucial science faculty member) will not be able to finish their letter by the first week of June as I had desired.

Will this effect my application being complete or receiving secondaries at schools I apply to? I expect i will receive these recs before the end of June, but I will send off my application around the first day I can do so. I am confused about whether not having all of my LORs will cause a delay in receiving secondaries.

Thanks so much for anyone who can shine some light on this issue for me!

95% of schools won't even consider LORs until you finish secondaries. Those 5% are schools that pre-screen for secondaries (but even they may not care about LORs until after).

You will get the secondaries as soon as your primary hits the schools and you pass the prescreen (GPA/MCAT)

edit: Advice---Relax. 🙂 I sense the neuroticism for this cycle beggining to brew.

Ah! Great advice.... And you're right, I need to save the stressing for real problems.

Thanks again!
