Hi, all.

I have some questions about biology prerequisites.

When I took general biology classes (bio 1 and bio 2), they were 4 credits each and did have lab sections within the curriculum, but there were not separate lab courses specified in my transcript such as bio 1 lab or bio 2 lab.

Now I am putting general biology prerequisits, and a lot of time it specifies "minimum 8 credit hours of biology courses with lab."

I am kind of worried if admission committees would not count general biology courses because I don't have general biology lab courses taken.

What do you all think?

Is there anyone having the same concern like me?

My courses are the same and it doesn't make a difference whether the lab is separate from the lecture or not. Just enter the course exactly how it's listed on your transcripts. Schools will know that the lab and lecture are one thing.
