Question about break during DAT

Hi guys,
I know there's a 30 mins break after PAT section. I'm wondering whether when we finish with sceicne section, will the program go directly to PAT section? or do we get like couple minutes break before PAT starts? (sorry if this question might sound dumb lol but I feel like i may need like a couple mins to take a deep breath lol).
Also, are we allow to write down notes or make grids for PAT section during the survey at the beginning? I have heard that some centers allow you to take notes while some don't. I want to know from those who recently took DAT.

It will go directly to the PAT.
As far as setting up your grids and what not - that varies by testing center.
I took my DAT on 6/25/17 and they did not allow me to write anything during the tutorial.
