Hi everyone.
I've already got a strong application to med school - good MCAT, GPA, and research experience, but a significant weakness in my application is only one semester of calculus at college. (I also took a semester of statistics.) I graduated in May 2011 and I'm currently doing research in Boston. I've looked at Harvard's extension school or BU's metropolitan college to take a second semester of calculus this spring, before I begin my application next summer. Is there a better place that I should take this class? Would top-tier med schools look favorably on HES or BU's met?
Thanks!

I seriously doubt that a single class at an institution, Harvard extension or otherwise, is going to merit much interest so long as you perform reasonably well in it. Do the cheaper one.

Seconded... all you need is integral calculus somewhere on your transcript.

Thanks for the replies - I think I will take the class. My job offers tuition reimbursement, so I'll be able to take it for free!
