Hello everyone!
Does anybody know how to get Canadian boards practice questions? I know there are some on their website but they have no answers and there are not enough for practice. I’d appreciate anyone's input.

Hi, I passed the boards in 2007 so here's a few pointers I could give you. Study for the theoretical part and concentrate on that. When going over the concepts, visualize what are the clinical applications. When studying Oral medicine for example, create an association between the lesion's description and it's appearance. For pros/fixed and removable and restorative, go over the concepts of ideal preps and proper restorative design. As for perio, learn what values imply which diagnosis and then associate the proper tx. plan. Endo's all about figuring out what could've gone wrong so start from the crown and go down. Oral surgery is about flap design and proper management. There is always some prescriptions to write, usually, one antibiotic and an analgesic so know the dosage properly. Medical emergencies must be well understood. In my opinion, the best way to prepare for this part is to go over the above-mentioned topics during your clinical sessions as as many questions as possible to your instructors and practice tx planning with existing charts. This section tests your clinical reasoning.

Hope this helps
