question about CS progress notes

For the progress notes in step 2 CS, is it just a SOAP note, or does it have to follow the format of the first aid review book. In the book, they have the HPI, ROS, PMH, family hx, social hx. Is all that information required in the note?

Yes. You are supposed to treat it like a new patient visit...at an office that apparently doesn't have a packet to fill out before a new visit.
