Hello all,

I am a re-applicant (and yes I know I'm a bit late.. personal reasons) and I'm hoping you guys can answer a couple of questions about entering your DAT scores on the application.

1- I applied last cycle with the Canadian DAT scores. Then way later in the cycle, past December, I took the US one. When I fill out my application now, do I still need to declare and send schools my Canadian DAT scores, or is the US one all they'll need? On the application, it says enter Canadian DAT scores "if applicable", so does that mean only if it's the only version I've taken? Or would it be "withholding information" if I don't enter all the scores, which might lead to discarding my application?

2- Which schools, to your knowledge, need the US DAT scores sent to them directly (not just through AADSAS)? When I took the US DAT I requested that it be sent to all the schools I applied to last cycle (as an update), so it cost me nothing. Now, I understand that if I need to pay to have scores sent to each schools individually, so I don't really want to send it to schools that don't require me to do so (i.e. are good with getting my scores from AADSAS).

Thank you for your help 🙂

Logically if you are a reapplicant they are probably going to be aware that you had a score prior to your latest one. If they can't trace back to a US DAT they might question your Canadian DAT. Again, this is all conjecture but I wouldn't "withhold" any information if I was in your situation.

"if applicable" probably means "if you took it". no US schools need it to be directly sent, having it associated with your application is good enough.
