I have a question on how AACOM calculates developmental classes on a transcript. I was out of school for sometime in the military and when I came home I took a refresher course "Intermediate Algebra" before taking college algebra. My college says that the class counts towards the overall attempted hours, but since it is a developmental class it doesn't count toward my GPA. So seemingly like a "W" if I understand it correctly. Would this be the same as a "W" with AACOM or something different?

If it is graded in your transcript ie (A, B,C, D or F), you have to put the grade in when you fill out the AACOMAS application and it will count toward your GPA. If it says W or Pass or Fail in your transcript, it will NOT count toward your AACOMAS GPA.

Looking it up on my transcript it is marked "DA" for the grade. D for developmental, A for receiving an A. Would I just mark it as an A or would it be something different?
