Studying for my surg shelf and been using Pestana. For most renal path, he says to start with an IVP then move on to cystoscopy, CT, etc. depending on what it is (RCC, bladder cancer, etc.). So it sounds like if you see a kidney question on the surgery shelf then you should automatically pick IVP for best next step. However, I know his notes are like 10 years old so I'm just wondering what to put for questions nowadays. Isn't CT or US used as first standard of care for suspected cases of RCC, bladder cancer, kidney stones, and so on?

I just want to straighten this out before I start marking IVP for all my renal questions and getting every question wrong lol. Thanks.
