I'm considering taking a Kaplan MCAT class starting either October or January. I'm looking at their website though, and there's only a $150 difference between the online class and the classroom. As far as I know, the classroom class has access to all the resources available to the online class, right? (questions bank, online lectures, etc) So it's only $150 difference to go to class every week?

This doesn't sound right to me. Are the online resources for the classroom people more limited compared to those for the online only people?

I took the online class, because my schedule did not allow me to attend in person. I got the big thick physical sciences book, the big thick bio book, a medium sized verbal book, the High Yield book, the big thick lecture workbook to correclate to online lectures, the flashcards, and access to all their practice tests. Due to copyright laws, you have to actually go to the center to use the AAMC tests, but you get access to those too. This format worked great for me because it gave me structure, which I needed, while still giving me freedom to jump around. I didn't need a lot of review in chemistry, so not having to spend a lot of time on that in a class allowed me to work on my weaknesses. I took the test in April studying EK by myself, and feel that it was a waste of my time. EK is good, but I didn't have all the background knowledge needed, and was not prepared. I studied about the same amount of time for April with Kaplan, and was much more prepared. Kaplan spends more time on the psych factor of the test, which helped me. Good luck.
