Certiphi requires you to submit your primary before you can use their service for a background check, and I am not applying until next year. I was wondering if there was a service that is known to report back the same that certiphi does that I could use? My state school specifically states on their website that our state might count speeding tickets as misdemeanors, and that we should fully disclose it if it does.

I ran a background check with beenverified (it showed a clean record), but I am not sure how accurate I feel this service is. I was wanting to make sure I had no misdemeanor speeding tickets before I marked no on my primary's. I know certiphi uses your social and previous addresses, and alot of these other background checks just have you enter in your name, which doesn't seem to be accurate.

Maybe look at the laws for your state to see if speeding tickets are considered misdemeanors only past a certain mph over the limit? Also, if you only had a couple, and they weren't outrageously over I doubt it will be a problem. In the future for any tickets, see if an attorney can get them lowered to improper equipment.

I don't think beenverified is entirely accurate. It didn't have any records of me and I have lived in the same place my entire life.

Well from my experience this year my background check did not pull up any moving violations or speeding... and that was the background check service used for KCOM.
