question about ECE report (Chinese pl help)

I am from China and just recieved my ECE report and the US Equivalence is "completion of five years of study in a dentistry program". I thought it would be a DDS/DMD equivalent. Does anyone know if this eveluation result is good for NBDE exams and application of advance standing programs?

Anyone from China? what is the degree on your evaluation report? Since in China most of us completed the 5 year bachelor program in dentistry after high school, I wonder if difference schools make any difference.

I am not chinese, but in india we have the same system, 5yrs of dental school after high school. I believe you should be ok to apply to take the boards, just check ada.org to make sure. Good luck

I would like to make this comment on this equivalency statement. This statement is causing issues if anyone wants to go to a 2nd degree programs.
The university I am applying does not even consider my BDS as a bachelor's degree. they told me to work with the evaluation agency and have them write that I have a degree.
So, who am I now?? just passed HIGH SCHOOL???
PRETTY SAD.

May I ask where you graduated from? Do you know any one around you that successfully admitted into dental schools from china?
