Here is the question on their website

Q: What types of courses ARE NOT included in my GPAs?

A: Professional and foreign coursework will not be included in the GPAs. In addition, any course in which a grade of withdrawal, pass/no-pass, audit, incomplete, exempted or not yet enrolled is indicated, will not be included in the GPAs

So lets say I took some basic business classes that were NOT academic at a college, but were still classes counted towards a technical degree. Is this what it considers professional work? If so would I be right in assuming that it would not be calculated in your GPA?

The way that I would understand "professional" coursework would be something like continuing medical education credits or going to seminars or conferences that are related to your profession. If the classes went towards a degree, I would count them. That is just my opinion though. If you think it is a big enough deal, I would suggest sending an email to them and asking. All I can offer is my opinion, they can get you some facts (hopefully).

Thank you, I just tried calling and they were closed sadly. I think I agree with you now though after reading it. Since pre-profession is a common title assigned to most majors looking to get into the health care, and professional schools are what they apply to I would take it to mean that.

Thanks for your response!

I will update this so if anyone searches they can know the answer as well.

If it is on your transcript then it is on your cumulative GPA.
