question about gpa

Do you guys think it looks better if you did really well (3.75+) in most of your semesters but had 1-2 below average semesters (3.2-3.3) or would it look better to do the same every semester (3.6-3.7) when you compare people with similar gpas?

I know it's kind of a random question but I was just curious since I fall in the first category.

It certainly depends on the reasons why you didn't do well during those 1-2 semesters....being consistent, however, is always better.
