Hello, I just thought I'd post this in here and see what you guys think.
I don't know if this is a problem for me to post this, and if it is, please just erase it or whatever.
But could someone let me in on tension headaches?
I have been having them daily for several months now, and I went to my internal medicine physician recently.
Well, he put me on a muscle relaxer that isn't doing ANYTHING at all for me. He gave me Skelaxin (metaxalone). He said that if they don't help, he may refer me to a neurologist.
Is a psychiatrist an option for this condition?
I've done some research on tension headaches, and I've found that some people take SSRI's for this?
Do any of you have any experience giving an SSRI to someone with chronic tension headaches?
Thanks for any help you give me...
