Does anybody know if most schools print out the secondaries and review paper copies or if the applications are usually viewed completely on a computer?

Probably both since many people would have to sift through the applications.
Some may even do a bit of Googling to get a bit of background info on people like my department chairman used to do when screening applicants for residency. I'm thinking they also check out Facebook and other social networking sites to get an idea of what the candidates are like outside of the application.
Hum, facebook, really? My privacy settings on facebook are cranked pretty high, like only friends of friends and my networks can search for me, and then only friends are able to see stuff in my profile, and people who are on my "limited profile" can't see pictures tagged of me or certain photo albums on my page. Do you think I'm safe? I really don't want any medical schools being able to see anything on my facebook page![]()
I've always wondered why people get nervous about the Facebook thing... if someone isn't your Facebook friend, can they even see anything besides, at most, your profile picture?
