If I marked an interfolio LoR as being for a specific school instead of a general recommendation does the recipient see this? I marked a letter as being for a specific school because my letter writer and I had a lengthy discussion about that school and I thought marking it as such was only something he would see. obviously I don't want a letter marked for School A going to School B. If the recipient does see it, does anyone know if I can have interfolio change the label or will I have to ask my writer to send another recommendation?

The people at Interfolio are very friendly. Give them a call and they can do whatever it is that you are requesting!

I did general for all of mine, I dont think it makes a difference honestly.

I dont think the schools will really care much, but honestly if you can just change crap over to general if you are tossing the letter out to a few schools. I imagine that will take the stress off.

Update in case anyone comes across this thread in a future search. I contacted interfolio and they told em that, "The only information the recipients sees with the letter will be the title of the letter of recommendation."

Thanks for the replies.
