so i've never been to the east coast but i know its gonna b cold. i have an interview coming up at upenn and I was just wondering if people that have already interview there changed into their suits at their hotels or at the school. I know the question may sound silly, but if its snowing and raining, even if you are wearing a coat, wouldn't your shoes and pants get dirty from the weather?

sorry for the stupid question lol

Have you never been outside in the rain?

You should come to the school dressed in your interview attire, but Philly is REALLY cold, so dress accordingly.

Leg warmers + pants + socks + flats (if you are a girl)
Long sleeved shirt + vest/scarf + suit jacket + long peacoat type jacket

Umbrella + gloves + comfortable purse (not too bulky, but easy to get stuff out)

hope that helps!

um its snowing and freezing rain here latley so everythings slippery frozen and slushy. ie today, tomorrow, thursday....last week....maybe next week. weather=totally sucky.
if youre from the west coast, youre in for a rude weather awakening!

For guys, wear a peacoat with pockets that you can stow away your gloves (thin - not the gortex mountain climbing crap) and scarf (not feminine) away in. You don't wanna carry all those accessories around indoors or look like you're scaling Everest when dressed in them. Girls can have a purse or bag for that stuff, I'd imagine.

A hat is tricky because you could have killer hat hair if your hair is longer than buzzed...But it might be preferable to having an inch of snow in your hair.

Also, I don't think you can sacrifice nice shoes and nice pants. Rub off the salt and slush real quick from your shoes...
