I know it's really late in the season, but I still have yet to hear back from a few schools i'm really interested in. I'm wondering if it's worth sending a letter of interest and update, since i've won a few awards (unusally good month, i admit) and such. These are the schools, because I know each school has a different timeline:

Stanford
Drexel
Miami
Yale
Wake Forest

Any help much appreciated!

If you have a lot to update on, then sure, why not? However, check each school for its policies on such updates. I know that Stanford specifically states that it does not accept any updates pre-interview.

I know that Stanford will still be interviewing for a little while, and they do accept update letters on your activities (especially since you say they are significant updates). However, they won't take grade updates.

EDIT: To the above poster, I think you're right - I was only able to send my activity updates post-interview. Sorry about that. I would agree with the advice to check with individual schools about their timeline and whether or not they accept updates 🙂 Good luck!

i had zero interviews as of last month, but for the past 1.5 months i've been sending update letters, GPA updates, interest letters, etc to schools im' still interested in, and in the past 2 weeks or so, bam, 2 interviews popped up.

of course i can't be certain it was because of those letters, but hell yeah man send those out, it certainly can't hurt
