question about IR and HNMR and cNMR

i am not sure what kind of questions i would expect for IR, HNMR and CNMR.
Do we have to memorize the table for all of these?????
like do we have to know physics behind these spectroscopy????
any suggestion on studying these materials???

Havent taken the DAT yet, but for IR know what the characteristic peaks are, HHMR know how to read them, understand how shielding and deshielding works, crack open an orgo book and read the chapter on NMR IR i really dont think u need to understand the science behind how it works, just know that IR detects bending and vibration frequencies of bonds while NMR detects nuclear spin. Read the chapters on those and just understand how to do them.
