Does anybody know with certainty whether the 2000 edition for Kaplan USMLE Step 1 review books is the same as the 2003 edition?

I am looking to purchase a set online, and the 2000 edition is much cheaper. However, I don't know if it is outdated or if the USMLE has changed at all since then. (For example, I know the MCAT changed slightly this past year.)

Thanks for your help!!

Do lots of questions and focus on your weak areas. They are where you stand to gain the most points.

Trust me,
They are exactly the same with very, very few changes. The only major change was going from 3 to 7 books. I have the old version on CD Rom and the new version was given to me by a friend who just wrote the exam. I have looked them over and there is no change. Even the Q-Book is exactly the same.
