I've taken a couple Kaplan FL and, from reading other threads, I decided not to rely on the Kaplan scaled scores because they are inflated and calculated my scores based on the AAMC scaled scores for their online full length exams.

My question is, will this be accurate? Is the Kaplan FL (particularly the Physical Science section) harder or easier than the real AAMC test?

Thanks in advance 🙂

why don't you post what you got using kaplan scales on kaplan tests and post what you got on aamc tests using aamc scale and compare the two?

My Kaplan avg was a 32, and I scored a 33 on my actual MCAT. Do all of the Kaplan PS sectional tests, and if youre feeling bold do Kaplan's 6-11 PS full length stuff (dont worry about 6-11 bio or verbal). I found Kaplan to have PS sections most similar to the actual exam.

Kaplan's scale is inflated because their tests' difficulty is also inflated. The two cancel out. At worst your score might be inflated by 1-2 points.

According to other posts I've seen on here, the Kaplan tests are all much harder than the real thing. As a result, they also have a much more forgiving curve.
