Hi everyone,
I was wondering if I can get some help on some information involving radiation levels used in Radiation Oncology. I am a pre-med student working on a project involving radiation in radiation oncology. I am trying to find information pertaining to specific levels of radiation in cGy's that the body (as well as specific organs) can tolerate before the effects are harmful enough to outweight the benefits. The only information that I have found so far is general information for cancer sufferers (FAQ type articles) which do not contain any specific information on when the risks of the levels of radiation exceed the benefits. In addition, does anyone know of any great websites with more specific information about risks vs benefits in the levels of radiation used and increase in risks with the use of certain types of radiation ? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
