I have no clue about anesthesia (i'm not even in med school) but I have a general question that I had no luck googling. Does a local anaesthetic, such as lidocaine, reduce blood clotting. If used for a minor surgery, would the patient bleed for a longer period of time because of its use? Thanks!

Not to my knowledge. At least not in the typical use of it.
