I've searched around for this answer but have not stumbled upon a definitive one. Where do I send the LOR's to? AACOMAS, or to each of the schools INDIVIDUALLY? I plan to apply to at least 7 DO schools, so I need to know what to tell my professors and a DO physician if they need to make about 10 copies of each LOR and Evaluation forms. Thanks.

They will need to be sent to each school individually, during the secondary process. If you are currently in school or a recent undergrad, do they have a "pre-health" office that offers any sort of service that will help you out with sending out LORs? At my school we've got a pre-health advising office/dept and we'd have our letter writers send the letter to them, and then I'd tell the office which schools I'd like which of my letters sent out to and they'd take care of it, VERY handy.

I've seen some others on here use a service called interfolio (www.interfolio.com) which does a similiar thing, send all your LORs to them and then you pick and choose where you want them sent. I can't comment on that service or which schools allow you to use that.

I'm glad you asked this, I've been wondering too. My plan is to supply addressed envelopes to everyone writing me a letter. Also, what is this evaluation you speak of?

Right on. If you have this service at your university, get your recommenders to send their letters to this office. The office will send all the letters in your secondary packets.

use your premed office if they offer this service or interfolio.com. I used interfolio.com. make sure you are getting LORs after you complete each course and follow up with the prof to be sure they follow through.

You may send LORs from interfolio and your premed office to the schools where you applying. AACOMAS only forwards MCAT scores and your primary application, NOT your LORs.
