I wanted to get some advice on a LOR situation. I'm not looking to start an MD/DO argument at all, just genuinely need some advice.
I'm from Texas and my only interview has been with the DO school here. I love the school and I wouldn't hesitate in the slightest bit to go there. In my app I did not submit a LOR from a DO. I am currently working in a research management position where I work with a lot of physicians who are all MD's, but have said nothing but great things about the DO perspective. I was thinking about getting a letter from one of these physicians to send as an update to my app.
Texas is already in the pre-match period; do you think an MD letter will help at this point in the cycle? Thanks in advance!
