Hi everyone!

I’m currently working on my application, and I just had a question about the LOR part.
So I already have few people in mind; 1 science professor who taught me & I’m also involved in her research, 1 other science professor who taught me and I TA’d for, we’re very close and I’m sure both of the professors will write me good, personal LOR.

The problem is that for other LOR’s, I don’t know if I should include a dentist LOR or other LOR that I think will be stronger.

I’ve shadowed 3 different dentists. 1 dentist was when I was staying in Korea and I did a bulk hour of shadowing there because the dentist wanted to make sure I had enough hours so he wanted me to come in like 10-4/5 everyday for 1-2 months lol! He attended US dental school, but he practices in Korea so I don’t know how the schools will take that in if I get an LOR from him.

I shadowed 2 more dentists in the states, but I don’t know if they’ll write me a very strong LO, which is why I’m hesistant.

My other options are: 1 from an employee from my on campus job as kind of a tutor. I was heavily involved with this job and got an award for it as well. I know the director well and I believe she’ll write me a great letter.

1 from an Ethics Bowl coach that I was involved with for 3-4 years of my uni. I really enjoyed being part of this team (even tho we didn’t really win a lot) and I think she can speak a lot about my personality and competitiveness, etc.

Sorry it’s a long post guys, but TLDR; I just can’t decide between like 2 really strong letters that are not from dentists, or like 2 maybe average or mediocre letters that are from dentists that I shadowed. I don’t know which would be better.

What do you guys think??
