Just wanted to know how many of you showed your personal statement and list of EC's on AMCAS to your LOR writers? Is it appropriate to show it to everyone you ask for a LOR?

My recommenders didn't ask to see any of those since they all knew me fairly well. but some of my friends asked profs from some of the bigger classes and they either had to submit some info or sit down and talk to the prof.

I provided a copy of my full amcas application to all of my individual recommenders and the chair of my pre-med committee.

Same. I also provided my recommenders with my abreviated resume, in case they didn't want to weed through the 14 page AMCAS. I figure the more information I give them, the more complete and helpful letter they can write. I think this is particularly important for any writers who you do not know terribly well, but I provided it to everyone just in case.

Same here, I provided a CV to each of the committee members. Also emailed each individual with a reminder of my experiences with them and my graduation dates, etc.. I am complete at 5 schools now, 7 more to go (just waiting for them to process the letters and update my status for those that remain).
