Question about LOR's

I plan on applying 6/1/14. Two weeks ago an MD I work with offered to write me a LOR. This morning my organic chemistry professor offered.

I set up an interfolio account last week.

My question:

Should I ask them now for the letter and give them the interfolio information or wait? It's a while out but I feel like why not just get it done right?
