question about MS1 books

Hey,

I have some silly questions for you medical students:

could someone tell me which is the "Little Moore" text that people use for anatomy? (like the title and authors..etc?)

Also, could someone tell me which is the larson review for embryology text?(also, title and author)

"Little Moore" is Essential Clinical Anatomy by Keith L. Moore as opposed to "Big Moore" which is Clinically Oriented Anatomy, also by Moore.

Moore sucks. Wait until medschool starts to buy books unless you like wasting money and time 🙂

Gotta agree... moore really blows except for an atlas, wait till med school to get any books. I have hardly used any books since my school uses syllabi.

In terms of atlases I would go with netters and Rohens. Netter is illustrated and rohens is photographs. I used them both. I thought grants (which is the associated atlas with moore) also sucked. Midway through anatomy I switched to netters (from Grants) and my grades went up.

Agreed. I did not have time to read even mini-moore during anatomy. A good atlas is useful (I liked Rohen's and Moses'). BRS is useful also.
