Hello! I'm a premed student, and one of the options i'm considering , specialty-wise, is anesthesia. I'm going to be signing up for my fall classes soon , my question is : are there any specific courses that would be beneficial, educationally, to prepare me for anesthesiology? I'm def gonna take pathophysio, would cellular physio or advanced human physio be better? any other recommendations? any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

No because you will learn all you need to learn later.

Take frickin marine biology and go on a boat, man.

During medical school you take all the relevant courses, and much more rigorously than anything undergrad can offer. It doesn't matter if you took undergrad "pathophys" since you spend a year on it in medical school.

However, I do know that some people thought having taken an undergrad biochem course was helpful for med school though.

Agreed.
Also, undergrad anatomy = super helpful.

Take anything else that fulfills the bio requirement to graduate

Amen to that. I'm on a boat!
