okay so i hope this isnt a stupid question 🙂 i want to move to north carolina and start my career there after i finish pharmacy school in illinois...so should i just take the naplex in IL and transfer it right away to NC? or would it just make more sense to take it in NC? the reason i ask is because my boyfriend and i want to get married in IL around the same time as this and then i will move out to NC where he is! confusing situation i know 🙂 thanks for clarifying!

1. get an intern license in NC then apply for graduate internships

2. Have your school send your graduation affidavit/proof of enrollment to NC's Board of Pharmacy

3. Have the Illinois BOP transfer your intern hours to the NC BOP

3. Apply for a pharmacist license through NC BOP. Use NC as your state of jurisdiction when registering on nabp's website

i wanted to answer this question b/c i didnt know the process either before it was too late.. people told me it couldnt be done. it can be done, easily. you just have to take care of the paper work way ahead of time. hopefully this helps anyone who wants to move to another state following graduation.
