what do you think are the easiest non-reach schools in US?

honest replies only

(please don't take up thread space with: well it depends on your app., etc.)

assume worse app

look in msar and see which schools have the lowest gpa and mcat averages.

come on, not that crappy of an app

an app that's not good enough for reach schools, but good enough for non-reaches

drexel is a start, keep the list going

Finch....sorry, "Rosland Franklin"....and their M.D. program is on probation.

Look, unless you actually post your stats then no one will have the slightest idea of what is reach/non-reach for you. Post your stats or else go away. Otherwise, I smell troll.

Thanks for playing.

If there is anything that has been posted on to death on these boards (except for AA threads - love those 👍 ), its "which schools are easiest to get into?" Do a search for it. Otherwise, you'll just have to wait for people to post a list that you can find in 2 minutes.

couldn't find ... tell me where

Not that bad stats, I think you even have a shot at some middle range schools. You certainly don't have horrible stats...check above schools, maybe Boston U, maybe your state schools (depending on state of residency). Retaking MCAT would obviously significantly help.

If you are a minority, you are golden at Meharry.

oh yeah, ivy league grad

Are you looking for research or clinical? And what state are you are resident of?

Since you are coming from an IVY (reliable sources say this does matter) and have a good verbal score, you should be fine. Unless you're applying to top-research schools or if you claim you want to pursue academic medicine, your science scores and research experience won't matter as much. Just apply to a lot of schools and write very good, meaningful essays (I assume from that T in writing that you are capable).

Also, it's good to have something that helps you stand out. Do you have anything? Just know that there will be a lot more Asain, IVY, bio-major premeds with some research and volunteer experience and have tutored or played piano or violin or some other very common EC, that are competing with you.
