I've heard NYCPM's drop rate is higher than any other schools , they kick students out with just failing a course :scared: just wanted to know how is the grading system at NYCPM and do they give you a second chance if you not do good a semester or in a course? do other schools kick students out like there? 🙂

If you fail a course, then you have the option of a retest at the end of that course. If you pass the retest, then you pass the course. Pretty forgiving in my mind.

If you fail a course and fail the retest, then you obviously don't pass that year. Options include starting the year over or not coming back.

Surprise, you are in medical school (surprise you are in podiatry school for those that just cringed). It is going to be hard, and not everyone should pass. My class started a year ago with 94 and now have in the mid eighties. The school has also continuously raised their admissions standards and average stats three years (at least) in a row now, so the numbers of students failing should decrease.
