I was recently admitted to the NYU postbacc program 🙂 and I'm hoping to get some feedback from current and former students. I also got into Columbia, but after reading some negative reviews online, I'm leaning towards NYU. I'm wondering a few things:
(1) What is the average GPA among postbac students?
(2) Are the science classes curved? If so, what is the average GPA for a particular class?
(3) NYU's website says that 90% of students who have a 3.6 GPA and a 31 or higher on the MCAT get into medical school. What percentage of students have these numbers?
I would also appreciate any other general thoughts about the program. Thanks a lot!
