To facilitate the final review of your application, the Admissions
Committee has requested that you provide the following updates at your
earliest convenience:
A-- Grade (student copies are acceptable) and/or DAT updates
B-- A brief statement describing your interest in NYUCD
This is the main part of the email for those that had completed it my following question is:
1) I graduated last yr already, and didn't take any class since, took the DAT again but send it to them already
so what should i do about part A?
2) For B how brief should the statement be?
Thz in adv.

i think a simple, "dear so and so, i am still very interested in attending your school." should do.

really? I think if you really want into the school treat this as a supplementary app and write why you want to go to their school. Impress them and maybe they will ask you for an interview. If you make it look like you put a lot of time into your response it will PROVE to them that you want to go to NYUCD and they will be interested in you as an applicant.

damn, mrs meijia wasnt lying when she told us during the interview to send a card or letter to her later to explain how serious you were about attending.. good thing i sent it!

Maybe Michigan's supp essay but not the longer ones. They want brief reasons. If they wanted a supplemental app, they would have asked for it.

I think it's a test to weed applicants out of the pool.

That same email was probably sent to several other applicants, many of whom won't reply to NYU, due to the fatigue involved with completing their request (it takes time and energy).

My guess is that the school may be having a difficult choosing between many competitive candidates.

Prove to them your continued interest!!! (and good luck!)
