I am a potential career changer and have a FT 9-5 job that I am working around. I looked at MSAR to see if schools would accept online and/or CC classes for prereqs and most schools seem open to it or at least consider it on a case by case basis. I need to take gen chem 2 and that’s the only class I have remaining (long story but I do have an upward trend in higher level courses that I have taken since then). I looked at CC in my area but the class schedule unfortunately cuts into my work schedule and I can’t take that time off every week. Has anyone taken pre reqs online and had trouble with getting it accepted if MSAR says it’s okay? Any recommendations as to where to take it from are welcome. I was considering UW Extension or UNE because local colleges in my area don’t have online options for chem 2.

Thanks for the response! I did more digging and found an online CC class that has significantly cheaper tuition for in state students so I might go that route.
Yeah as long as it's regionally accredited you should be fine. I just did Orgo at UNE because my CC only offered Orgo at like 1pm on Tuesday and Thursday. 🙄
