Question about PAT

Hello guys
I am going to take DAT on June and i am having really big toubles on PAT section.
Since this is my first DAT and i never done such thing like PAT and i do not take any kaplan or any courses. I am studying by myself and it is really hard for me to study PAT section all by myself.

So,
can anyone PLEASE explain very clearly about PAT clearly? and tips for how to do well on PAT?

Pat is all about practice practice practice and more practice. However, for the cube counting, it helps to go cube by cube and make a tally of all the cubes before hitting the questions. Good Luck

To go along with this, try to get a copy of Barron's DAT. Though the book isn't the best in the world, they give good advice on PAT. For blocks, they tell you to do the same thing. Make a list of cubes and how many sides showing. SO it would look something like this:
You start by labeling the cubes from left to right, top to bottom giving them a # based on the sides exposed. An example would look like this:

5 (top level)
---
3 (2nd level)
3
4
----
2 (bottom level)
2
2
2
4

Or something like that. You would then just go back and scratch them out as you answer the question. Pretty simple way to do it and I think I have only missed 1 after I adopted this method (surprisingly quick method as well!)

So, I recommend getting Barron's. Like I said, not the best in the world, but they do give some pretty good strategies for PAT.
