i've heard that starting it's around $35,000 and higher in the bay area.. prob varies with where you live and the standard of living

I'm a 'Drug Associate' at a pharmacy. I think it's a pretty cool job and lets me get to see how retail pharmacy works. I only get paid slightly over minimum wage, but that's not really important to me. I just wanted to see what it would be like working in a pharmacy.

Off the subject, but does anyone know what minimum wage is now? Last I heard it was $5.15. Has it changed?

Big Metro areas pay more than small areas, but your cost of living is more too. Hospitals usually pay more than retail. But if you can get a job with the feds, there's big money comparatively.
