On a good chunk of medical schools, it lists the requirements for physics as 8 credit hours. This would be two 3 credit hour classes, and two 1 credit labs. The problem is my school only counts this as 6 credits total. My lab is listed as non credit producing, and there is no such thing as a 4 credit hour physics class at my school.
So my transcript looks like this
Physics 1a (calculus based) - 3 credits - A
Physics Lab - Non-credit producing - A
Physics 2a (calculus based) - 3 credits - A
Physics lab - Non-credit producing - A
Also to note, that yes my classes did meet 3 times a week, and then we had one lab that was 2 hours long. I do not know why they do it this way. Has anyone dealt with this before?
