Question About Pitt

Is Pitt Med School behind this year in their admissions process because of AMCAS problems. Do they plan on interviewing longer than they have in the past? For those of you who interviewed what did you think about the school, things that stood out, and what should we know about the school that might help us in interviews if lucky enough to get one?? Thanks!!

I just received an interview invite today via e-mail from the U-Pitt, however, i don't know how long they will be interviewing. (from CA) my file was complete in early nov. good luck.

Hey! I'm an undergrad at Pitt and I have friends that are both in the medical school and I know some people at the Admissions office. THEY ARE WAY BEHIND this year. So don't sweat it. 🙂 Good luck!

Speaking of Pitt...I interviewed there in November, and I was wondering if we are supposed to send them our second semester grades. I can't remember whether or not they asked! Thanks.

Hmm, I am not sure about sending in your grades. I'd guess that if it's going to help you (like you're not slacking off senior year) than go for it. Or call and ask-- or check their website.
