Is it true that DO's can only really practice in rural areas of the country? This is what I've heard from most people, so I was just wondering if this is really true. Thanks!

It's not true. Do a search on DOs practicing in NYC.

Yes it is absolutely true. Unfortunately, as of yet, DO's haven't earned practice rights in villages over 12,398 people (by the most recent census). Hopefully a few more years of lobbying in Washington will change all that.

Just curious, are you asking for a friend or have you switched your interest from dentistry to osteopathic medicine in the last 2 weeks.

True.

Is there OMT for teeth? HVLA on the cuspids perhaps?
