Hey everyone,

I know that I want to complete all the Pre-dental coursework required, however I don't want to span it out over 3 years. I would like to keep it all close so I can score well on the DAT.

I am currently a Manufacturing Engineering Technology major and will finish in Approx. 3 years. Then I was planning on taking another Year or two to complete all the required courses for Dental School.

Is this a bad way to take it?

Please help,

Thanks

Why dont you squeeze it all in between? I am pretty sure that in 4years you can do both. You can score well anytime you want given that while taking the course, you study those courses like your job....Never ever study for the pre-req by just following what they teach in the class. study those classes as you are preparing for DAT .....study everything in detail thats in the book.
I completed all my pre-reqs over a span of 2.5 years and was able to crunch everything in only 6 weeks.

i'd recommend doing it concurrently. otherwise you need at least 2 years for pre-reqs alone. the longest sequence would be chem 1 - chem 2 - orgo 1 - orgo 2 - biochem. biochem is only required for some schools and can be taken concurrently with orgo2, but i wouldnt recommend it.
