Are we supposed to list all of our humanities and soc sciences with the specific code? Or is it better to only list the 2 or 3 courses in each category that we want to go towards the pre-req gpa calculation (while designating all other humanities/soc science courses as 'other')?

Thanks for your help!

Right or wrong, I categorized all of them as humanities or social sciences. Of course with my major (engineering) I didn't have too many of those anyway! 🙂
I'm not sure it matters a lot, other than for schools to make sure you took their required # of credits.

Hi Melanda! The best thing to do is just what Sheltergirl says - make sure that you can fill as many of the requirements for the schools as you can. That is by far the most important.

Oh, and just a little FYI - some schools, (Illinois for sure) calculate EVERYTHING into your cumulative GPA (including adding zero points for classes you withdraw from...) i know that's a little off topic, but I was shocked to learn that!

just trying to get a handle on the situation lately. i have posted that i am having trouble logging onto my vmcas application. are you able to get on at this time, or just last week when you posted your question regarding pre requisite codes?
