Question about Pre-req??

Well I just finished calculus 1 and I'm choosing my summer classes now and I'm literally stumped. Should I choose another semester of calculus (cal 2) or pick statistics? I went to several websites and they didn't really specify what they were looking for.

Is taking statistics required at any D.O/MD schools and will taking 2 years of calculus "look good" on my transcript? Which one have u guys taken?

As far as difficulty I'm pretty good at math so level of difficulty shouldn't be a factor.

Ps. 1 calculus class is required for my major so I had to take it anyway. I'm asking about the second required semester of math

Medical stats and epidemiology is a course required at both schools I've taught at. Meaning, the med students have it as part of their curriculum, NOT that they have to have it as a pre-req like orgo chem.

Doctors need to recognize when something is significant or not.

So, I'd say go with stats. And no, two years of calc won't "look good". Doing well in all of your classwork, will look good.

Yeah, I'd go stats. You've gotta be a special kind of crazy to take calc. 2.
