Hey there,

When I was in HS, I took the first semester of general chemistry class at four year university and received a P. Do you think I should retake it for a letter grade or upper-division chemistry classes to compensate for it? I talked to my school's chemistry department and they advised me to contact each dental school. Since I will be applying to more than 15 schools, I would expect each school would give me different answers. Anyone went through the same situation?

I would retake it for a letter grade, just to be safe. Then again, what do I know?

Although you may get 15 different answers, it's better than getting 15 rejections because of a simple problem like this.
