question about prelim for anes

As far as I know you can use any prelim year for anesthesia. The only thing I'd make sure of is that they give you 2 months of ICU training. The new accrediation rules want you to have 4 months of ICU in your residency and a lot of programs like you to get 2 done during your intern year and the other 2 during your residency. Before applying though, you should really check w/a PD or 2 b/c ultimately they have the final say.
