I am considering to apply to CSPM for Fall 2007. However, I am concerned about the prereqs for the school, especially the English and Biochemistry Lab requirements.
English Requirements:
In my Neurobiology degree, they give you no room to take extra English classes. However, they require students to take a Writing-based Science Lab as opposed to actual English classes. I have taken 3 Writing-based science labs, and currently, have 6 hours of English. However, CSPM requires 8 hours of English. Would my 3 Writing based science labs be sufficient enough to fulfill the 2 hours I need?
Biochem Lab Requirement:
In addition to not having room to take extra English classes, my school does not allow students who do not need Biochem Lab for their degree to take Biochem Lab. CSPM wants 4 hours of Biochem, and I only have 3 hours from Biochem Lecture. I have taken other labs, such as Genetics, Neuroanatomy, and Physiology. I know it seem far fetched, but would those labs be sufficient enough to fulfill the biochem lab requirement?
I understand that I could take summer school, but I cannot afford it. Additionally, I'm ready to submit my podiatric application, but now I am not sure if I can submit it to CSPM because of the prereq. I tried contacting them for the past few days to ask them about the prereq, but could not reach anyone at admissions. Now, I'm asking anyone here. Thanks!
